Will I need to pay a membership fee?

We do not charge a membership fee. If you are interested in local history and would like be involved, then just come along to one of our meetings or talks, and you will be made to feel very welcome.

Where do your meetings take place?

We meet in one of the  rooms upstairs in Tredegar Library. (NP22 3PS) MEETINGS start at 10.00am and last for an hour.

When do your talks take place?

Why not pop along to one of our interesting FREE TALKS? They take place in Bedwellty House once a month and last for about an hour. We hold a raffle and have a pop-up shop. Refreshments in the Orchid House tearoom are always a nice addition, either before or afterwards.

Where can I buy your publications?

Our SHOP opens its doors at all of our FREE MONTHLY TALKS. It offers a chance to browse our publications and not pay for postage on any item you buy.

Would you like to come to our meetings, or be involved?

We welcome new participants. If you are interested in local history and would like to join us please make contact through any committee member, through the Contact form below or just come along.

You don’t have to attend the committee meetings to help us. We would welcome volunteers to help in a variety of ways, particularly at the monthly Talks. The number of people attending these has grown significantly in recent months and we could do with another pair of hands to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day. Please let us know if you think you could help us in this way.
