We would like to thank David Mills for sharing some very interesting information about St. Sannan's church, the parish church of Bedwellty, and its surrounding area. This informative talk, which took place last Thursday, was well-attended and much-enjoyed by all.

However, David, had to contend with some reverberation from our new PA system which must have made things difficult for him! We are working hard to overcome this issue in time for our April talk.

Tredegar Town Council has purchased seven copies of our recently reprinted Evan Powell's 'History of Tredegar' and yesterday we proudly presented them to Cllr. Alyson E. Tippings who is also Tredegar Town Mayor.
These books, which will provide a valuable learning resource, are going to be given to every school in Tredegar on behalf of Tredegar Town Council
The Mayor is pictured here, receiving one of the books from Rodger Burchell, vice chair of Blaenau Gwent Heritage Forum. Rodger, in conjunction with Janet Karn, was responsible for bringing this historically significant reprint to fruition. ... See MoreSee Less
